Luigi Bajetti is the managing partner and founder of Lombardstreet Ventures.
Luigi is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the tech and internet industries, with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in building and scaling startups. With a passion for entrepreneurship instilled from a young age, Luigi honed his skills while working in his 3rd generation family's business, Lucchini Group, a world-leading manufacturer of high-speed railway components. He then went on to launch several tech ventures, including a primary ISP in Italy and a cutting-edge private photo-sharing service in the Bay Area.
With a deep understanding of the tech and telecommunications industries, Luigi has a talent for assembling top-performing early-stage teams, developing innovative products, and executing effective go-to-market strategies. As a full-time investor since 2013, he has been leveraging his experience and insights to identify and support the next generation of Silicon Valley founders. With a passion for backing game-changing technologies and a talent for spotting emerging trends, Luigi has a proven track record of success in identifying groundbreaking startups. He has invested almost always at the earliest possible stage of seed in 20+ US startups valued at over $30 billion combined, including 8 that have since become unicorns.
He also holds a specialization in Venture Capital from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
