Luigi Bajetti
Luigi Bajetti is the managing partner and founder of Lombardstreet Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based early-stage venture capital firm.
He invests in pre-seed and seed companies building in AI, infrastructure, and developer tools, partnering with technical founders from day one while maintaining a generalist approach.
Luigi is a third-generation entrepreneur and began his career in his family’s business, Lucchini Group, a global leader in high-speed railway components. He later spent over 25 years as an operator—starting as an early internet founder and going on to build and scale companies across internet, telecommunications, and infrastructure. His experience includes designing and operating large-scale systems and data centers, as well as founding and exiting multiple technology companies.
Since 2013, Luigi has invested as an angel in over 20 US startups at the earliest stages, now valued at more than $30 billion combined, with nine reaching unicorn status.
He holds a specialization in Venture Capital from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Luigi lives in Northern California, where he spends time outdoors and is building Alluba Conservation, a nonprofit foundation focused on protecting wildlife and advancing sustainable coexistence between humans and nature.
